What I Saw On My Way To Austin

Every time I drive by Hennessey Motorsports in Sealy, I get mad because they don't have a Venom randomly sitting outside. The bastards. But I DID see a few things of note between Houston and Austin.

1. My first 2013 SRT Viper sighting

2. A random guy in traffic wearing a helmet inside his S2000, sitting in traffic (in 102 degree heat). I'll say that again: HE WAS WEARING A HELMET IN HIS CAR, IN TRAFFIC. Was he too lazy to take it off after taking in a couple of laps at COTA? Is he ultra paranoid about car accidents? WAS HE ACTUALLY TOM CRUISE/MATTHEW MCONCAGUHAUGHHEE TRYING TO STAY INCOGNITO?! Who knows.

3. Buc-ee's still rocks.

I'll be out and about tonight, looking for some neat-o automotive wonders.

I saw the Oscar Meyer wienermobile on I-10 in Beaumont, tx earlier this week . I thought they trailered them from town to town but he was cruising westbound.

Since I grew up in Beaumont, this actually doesn't surprise me.

Also, I'm sorta shocked at how many exotic cars there are in that town.
